This is for the crewel work embroidery stitching kit of the pictured design from DMC which is based on a design to be found in the Victoria And Albert Museum in London.

 Crewel work is the same as ordinary embroidery but, in this case, using Medicis wool (which is a fine wool) instead of cotton.

The design has been screen printed onto the fabric and the fabric has been edged.

The design size is approximately 6 x 7" (15 x 17.5cm).
